But also said, I can still continue printing. However, I am getting a message to replace some ink cartridges. If I use the Epson Printer Utility Software, I'm able to access the printer. But then it disappears, and nothing is printed. I can see in the print job appear in the print status window. I did try using one of the available drivers on the list. How do I get the driver, for this particular printer, to come up on the Printer Software list? Or is it so old, it's no longer supported on 10.11.6? I wouldn't think so, as the Photo R300 is still part of the compatible Epson printer list for El Capitan. But it comes up with No Updates Available. I also tried checking to see available software updates through terminal softwareupdates -list. When I do a software update, or an Epson software update, I get a message of No Updates Available. Even after I manually installed the epson software installer. But I can't find a compatible driver for it in the Printer Software list. My Mac Pro, running 10.11.6, sees my printer when I go to add printer. I haven't used my Epson Photo R300 in a while.
